About Me

saving on the wardrobe of your little girl

Having one little girl with three older brothers has been quite a new experience for me. With the boys, I could buy any jeans and some plain old t-shirts and they would head out the door with little problem. With my daughter, things are very different. Instead of the cheapest jeans and t-shirts I can find, I have to get the latest trends in clothing and all of the accessories that go with each outfit. So, how do you find the clothes and accessories that are affordable enough to buy everything your daughter desires? This blog will give you several tips on saving on the wardrobe of your little girl.

Make Your Child Shine In Cute Christmas Clothing

There is absolutely nothing better than the Christmas season. During this time of year, everyone is a little bit kinder, there's a cool but festive nip in the air, and everything just seems magical. This is especially true for children, and while they get to take joy in the season (and the presents!), you can take joy in dressing them in precious christmas-themed clothing. If you need some fun ideas for dressing up your little one, then look no further!

Add a Pop of Red

Few colors scream "Christmas" the way that red does. If you want to dress your child in a subtle Christmas look, then, all you need is a little pop of red. Try a red top with some jeans and maybe a vest, or go for a cute dress with red tights.

You can take any outfit and give it that Christmas feel just by adding a little red or by combining red and green together. The nice thing about this approach is that you'll still be able to use the clothing throughout the year, long after the Christmas season has passed.

Dress Them Like Santa

Santa is definitely a Christmas staple, so dressing your little one to look like him is a surefire way to get into the spirit of the season. There are cute red and white sweaters and shirts, as well as dresses and even baby onesies to give your little cutie the Santa look.

If you don't want to go for a full-out Santa vibe, then you can always choose shirts or other outfits with pictures of Santa or with cute Santa-related phases. Basically, anything that is related to Santa, including Rudolph or reindeer-themed clothing, is going to give your child that cute Christmas look.

Go Matchy-Matchy

If you have more than one child, there is nothing cuter than dressing them in matching Christmas outfits. If your children like to be individuals, though, you could choose the same or similar outfits in coordinating colors, like red and green.

If you don't have two children and you still want that coordinated Christmas look, then why not dress to match your own little one? Many clothing stores, such as Strawberries N Sunshine, offer adult versions of children's outfits so you and your sweetie can look cute together!

These are just a few ideas for making your child look great the whole Christmas season. Don't be afraid to explore other options and to look at Christmas clothing all year long. If you stock up during the year, your child will have something to wear for the whole season!
